Hudson Valley resident Dr. Kevin Murphy has worked in education for over two decades, serving as a teacher, disciplinary dean, assistant principal, and principal of high school and middle school programs. As a principal, Dr. Kevin Murphy served in diverse capacities that supported achievements for students who attended public school in Highland, NY.

Dr. Murphy began his administrative experience as an assistant principal in 2015 and has worked as an administrator in several school districts. His primary role as an assistant principal was to support the principal, functioning as their designee in their absence. He also assisted with the master schedule and school budget, attended workshops, and undertook other administrative functions as assigned. He was the testing coordinator for the Regents, NYSESLAT, and College Board Advanced Placement exams. He also served as the exam coordinator. Dr. Murphy worked with staff members on curriculum standards and student programming.
